RoyalPaws Boston Terriers puppy represents generations of quality, compassion, and purpose. You’re not simply purchasing a Boston Terrier — you’re investing in a healthy, joyful family companion raised with integrity, intention, and love.

At this time, we do not keep an active waitlist year-round.

Our waitlists open only after a litter has arrived and we’ve confirmed the health, well-being, and availability of each puppy. This thoughtful approach ensures that we commit only to what we can lovingly deliver—healthy, thriving puppies and the right fit for each family.

Each waitlist is specific to an individual litter.

For example, if you’re hoping for a puppy from MOCHI x BEAR, you would apply only to that litter once the waitlist officially opens. This allows us to carefully match families with available puppies while honoring the natural changes that can occur during each litter’s early development.

Our process is intentionally structured to remain transparent, ethical, and responsive to both our puppies’ needs and your family’s desires

The best way to stay informed about upcoming litters, waitlist openings, and other important updates is to subscribe to our email list.

Our Boston Terrier puppies are placed as cherished companions only, without breeding rights. Each placement includes a legally binding spay/neuter agreement to ensure that our puppies are raised in loving pet homes and that the integrity of our bloodlines is preserved.

Our goal is to protect the health, temperament, and structure of the Boston Terrier breed through intentional, ethical breeding practices. Limiting breeding rights helps us maintain the high standards we’ve worked diligently to establish within our line.  If you are an experienced, ethical breeder who is interested in obtaining a puppy with full breeding rights from our program, we welcome thoughtful inquiries. Please email us at info@royalpawsbostonterriers.com to share more about your breeding goals and experience.  Each request is reviewed individually, with a strong emphasis on alignment in values, vision, and commitment to breed improvement.

Our pups go home litter trained. They are aware that there area is for sleeping and playing not for potty. We introduce them to the concept of going outside to potty, but they are not potty trained at this age. The goal at this age is to instill good habits and build a loving bond with your pup. It typically takes 3-4 months from the day of birth for a puppy to be fully house trained, but some puppies may take up to a year depending on the consistency of their potty training.

They are already accustomed to a crated area, making the transition easier, but will still have accidents. We suggest adding a divider into the crate where there is only enough space to sleep and nothing more. The rule of thumb when crate training, their age is how long they can hold their bladder e.g. 2 months old = 2 hours.

When they are 12-14 weeks old you can start full potty training. Here are our tips to potty train your new pup quickly.

• Take your puppy outside frequently, at least every two hours, but really on the hour is ideal.

• Always take them out immediately after they wake up, during and after playing, and after eating or drinking

• Pick a bathroom spot outside, and always take your puppy (on a leash) to that spot

• Reward your puppy every time they eliminate outdoors

At RoyalpawsBoston Terriers, we are confident that our puppies will be healthy and happy when we send them home with you. We breed with the love of the Boston in mind and we want you to be as comfortable purchasing one of our puppies as we are selling them to you. All of our puppies will come home with a 1 year health guarantee that is detailed in our final contract.

Each puppy receives a physical exam that includes an examination of the auscultate heart and lungs, body temperature, pulse and respiration, sensory exam of the ears, eyes, nose, and throat, and oral assessment, abdominal organ palpitation, skin, coat, and weight assessment, neuro/musculoskeletal exam, and intestinal parasite screening. Our vet (who has two Boston’s of his own) is thorough and will NOT issue a health certificate for a pup, knowing that he/she is sick or didn’t pass his/her examinations.

Our adults have also gone through the same extensive testing. In addition, we also test our breeding adults for several other genetic Boston specific issues  such as JHC (juvenile hereditary cataracts) to ensure we are only bettering our favorite breed. We DO NOT breed solely for profit. Our objective has always been, and will always remain, to provide our future Boston parents with a healthy, loving, and aesthetically pleasing puppy.

Expect lots of accidents and chewed up belongings. Just remember to have an abundance of patience and to never hit or strike your new puppy.

We have our pups on “Wholehearted” grain free puppy food. We find the ingredients in the food superior to most pebble food. Nothing needs to be done to their food as they are already accustomed to hard pebbles. Although we prefer our pups to eat a RAW diet we realize that sometimes its not feasible for most. If you wish to transition to a raw diet please head to our blog titled “The new dog parents’ guide to clean eating

Boston Terriers come in three weight classes:

• small (under 15 pounds)

• medium (15 – 19 pounds)

• large (20 + pounds)

Small, medium, and large does not refer to their over all weight but to their muscle and mass.

AKC stands for American Kennel Club. The AKC is the recognized and trusted expert in breed, health, and training information for dogs. Your new pup is a pre-registered purebred Boston Terrier with a pedigree to back her/him. BUT AKC papers DO NOT guarantee their quality, that is up to the breeder who holds the registration.

Your breeder is your puppy’s recorded owner until you complete the registration process. Registration also helps the AKC and its affiliates do so many things for dogs everywhere. Including but not limited to Canine Health Research, Lost Dog Recovery, Kennel Inspections and Pet Disaster Relief. It provides lifetime access to essential AKC resources and services.

Sometimes life happens and you just can’t change your circumstances. If this situation arises, PLEASE CONTACT US. We will gladly take our pup back, no questions asked.
